eSIM Mexico: Data only

Choose how you want to count

For Mexico, Chorro Fon offers two ways to plan your mobile internet: pick a fixed GB allowance or compare packages labeled unlimited by their duration. A traveler checking messages occasionally may approach that choice differently from someone expecting frequent online activity. Begin with the length of your visit, then consider whether you want to keep track of a set data amount throughout it.

Does Chorro Fon use Movistar and give me a number?

The product name is Chorro Fon; its listed host is Movistar 4G. This is a data service, without included voice minutes, SMS or a local telephone number. Choose it for internet use on your own device. If the task is to add credit to somebody's existing line, visit mobile top-ups for Mexico and compare the relevant carrier there.

A month is not the only choice

Fixed packages start with 1 GB for 7 days and 2 GB for 15 days. The 30-day range includes 3, 5, 10 and 20 GB. Unlimited choices run for 3, 5, 7, 10, 15 or 30 days, giving shorter visits their own durations. Prices across the available local plans run from $4.00 to $59.00 USD. Compare the package details alongside its time window before making your selection.

Do I need ID, and when does the package start?

You can browse and purchase from anywhere. Confirm that the phone accepts eSIMs and is carrier-unlocked, then follow the QR installation instructions. Chorro Fon uses first-connection activation, so the validity clock is tied to network use. Its catalog entries require no identity verification and support adding more data to the same eSIM. Consider those details when planning a return visit or helping family get connected.
